Membership Cancellation Policy
Institute of Finance and Insurance Professionals (IFIP)
At the Institute of Finance and Insurance Professionals (IFIP), we are committed to maintaining professional standards, administrative efficiency, and high-quality member services. To ensure fairness and proper operational management, the following Membership Cancellation Policy applies to all members.

Membership Cancellation Request
Members who wish to cancel their IFIP membership must submit a written cancellation request to IFIP within three (3) days from the date of registration or payment confirmation.
Cancellation requests may be submitted through:
- Official email communication
- Online support system
- Written letter addressed to IFIP Administration

Non-Refundable Admission Fee
⚠️ The Admission / Registration Fee paid at the time of joining IFIP is strictly non-refundable under any circumstances.
This fee covers the following costs:
- Administrative processing
- Membership onboarding
- System activation
- Documentation and verification costs

Membership Fee Refund Policy
ℹ️ If a cancellation request is approved within the permitted 3-day period, IFIP will deduct 40% of the paid membership fee as an administrative and operational charge.
The remaining eligible balance will be refunded to the member upon approval.

No Refund After 3 Days
⚠️ No refunds will be issued for any membership cancellation requests made after the initial 3-day period from the date of registration or payment confirmation.

Processing Time
⏱️ Approved refunds will be processed within 14–30 working days depending on banking and financial processing procedures.

Membership Benefits and Access
Once membership benefits, digital access, certifications, downloads, events, or professional resources have been utilized or accessed, IFIP reserves the right to reject any refund request regardless of the cancellation period.

IFIP Rights and Discretion
IFIP reserves the right to:
- Review all cancellation requests individually
- Reject requests that violate IFIP policies
- Amend or update this policy when necessary to meet operational and professional requirements
